Elzabeth Oghonwen Okungbowa is a Chief Nursing Officer in the Nursing Services Department. She assumed duty on 5th February, 2007 and has since worked in different Units and Departments in the hospital including, Accident & Emergency, Ophthalmic ward, Ward A3, Consultant Out Patient Department (COPD) and presently Premium Ward.
Today, we honour CNO Okungbowa as an extraordinary nurse whose dedication, compassion, and tireless work have made an indelible mark in the lives of patients who have come across her.
She is an embodiment of the true spirit of nursing—always going above and beyond to care for others with warmth, kindness, and unmatched professionalism.
As a CNO, she comes with a sense of calm and confidence that inspires everyone around her. She is generously blessed with an ability to connect with patients, offering them not just clinical expertise, but empathy and understanding thereby creating an environment of trust and comfort.
