The Management of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital received a team from the Edo State Primary Health Care Development Agency (EDSPHCDA) led by the Executive Secretary Dr. Omosigho Izedonmwen.
The purpose of their visit was to seek collaboration and support from UBTH in their quest for advancing clients’ home based community health care services.
Prof Obaseki in addressing the team emphasized the need for focus and continuity in the line of health care delivery chain. He insisted that there shouldn’t be any break rather a synergy among the various healthcare delivery system.
The CMD further harped on the need for collaborations among various levels of healthcare agencies, stating that this is the only way to ensure effective and efficient referral points.
