Nurse Helen Ebome holds the position of Assistant Chief Nursing Officer in the Geriatric Ward at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH). She began her tenure at UBTH in 2007, accumulating valuable experience across various units, including the Labour Ward, Ante-natal Clinic, NHIS Clinic, and Ward A4. Over the years, she has actively participated in numerous nursing seminars and training programs to enhance her skills and knowledge.
ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Nurse Helen Ebome attended Zuma Memorial School of Midwifery in Irrua, Edo State, and obtained her registered midwife certificate in 1997.
- She furthered her education by attending the Kaduna State College of Nursing in Kafanchan, Kaduna State, where she earned her RN Certificate in 2003.
- Currently, she is pursuing a BSc in Nursing Sciences at the National Open University of Nigeria’s Benin Study Centre. She also holds certificates in family planning and geriatric nursing, reflecting her commitment to continuous professional development.
