Pathology (Morbid Anatomy and Histopathology) is a department concerned with the scientific study of diseases, a hidden science that is continuously saving life and not merely a discipline that investigate the cause of death. Our goal therefore include the causes of diseases and formulating of diagnosis based on the clinical information available to us, diagnosis that eventually direct the bedside doctor in the right management of patients. Consequently, we are supposed to be involved in the follow up of the patient and provide prognostic indices.
