Ms. Chinyere Ayadikwor, RN, RM, BNSc

Nurse Ayadikwor Chinyere is a compassionate healthcare professional dedicated to improving the well-being of elderly patients and their families. With qualifications as a Registered Nurse, a Registered Midwife, and a Bachelor’s in Nursing Sciences, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.

Born in Aba, Abia State, Nurse Chinyere received her primary and secondary education. Her nursing journey began at the School of Nursing, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital in Nnewi, where she obtained her Registered Nurse certification in 2006. She later excelled at the School of Midwifery at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital in Enugu, earning her Registered Midwife certification in 2009 and emerging as one of the best graduating students of the year.

After honing her skills at Holy Trinity Hospital and Maternity in Igboukwu, Anambra State, Nurse Chinyere furthered her career by becoming an HIV counselor and a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. In 2014, she joined the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), initially working in the female surgical ward before specializing in geriatric nursing. Her dedication to her elderly patients has been challenging and rewarding, and she has witnessed remarkable recoveries of very ill patients.

In 2022, Nurse Chinyere’s zeal for knowledge and academic pursuit earned her a Bachelor of Nursing Science degree from the National Open University of Nigeria. She currently serves as a Senior Nursing Officer at UBTH, where her expertise and empathy continue to positively impact patients and their families.

The University of Benin Teaching Hospital was taken over by the Federal Government on April 1st, 1975 as the fifth teaching hospital coming after Ibadan Teaching Hospital and Lagos Teaching Hospital.
