Mrs. Odion, is a highly accomplished nurse with a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the nursing profession.
She embarked on her nursing career by obtaining her RN qualification from the School of Nursing in Agbor. Her passion for maternal and child health led her to pursue a RM qualification at St. Camillus School of Midwifery in Uromi, where she honed her skills in providing specialized care to expectant mothers and infants.
Recognizing the importance of geriatric care, Odion Susanna O. furthered her expertise by becoming a Geriatric Health Practitioner, a qualification earned through her dedicated studies at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital in Benin City. Her commitment to promoting natural family planning methods is evidenced by her certification as an Instructor in the Billings Method of Natural Family Planning, granted by The Pro-Life Association of Nigeria (P.L.A.N), Ibadan.
Among her numerous accomplishments, Odion Susanna proudly received the Award of Recognition for Continuing Services in the Geriatric Unit from UBTH in 2020, highlighting her dedication to elderly patient care. Furthermore, her exceptional skills and dedication were recognized when she was named “Best Clinical Nurse in Medical Unit B” at UBTH in 2022, a testament to her outstanding contributions to patient care.
