The Department of Ophthalmology, University of Benin Teaching Hospital, invites members of the public to the Professor O.T. Edema Legacy Cataract Free Outreach Programme, organized to commemorate Professor O.T. Edema’s 70th Birthday and Retirement.
This outreach aims to restore sight and improve the quality of life for individuals living with cataracts through free screenings and cataract surgery.
Screenings: Monday, 20th – Wednesday, 22nd July 2026.
Surgery: Wednesday, 22nd – Friday, 24th, July 2026.
Time: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM Daily.
Venue: Eye Clinic (Professor J.O. Ayanru Ophthalmic Complex), University of Benin Teaching Hospital.
