ENGR. OKOH IFEANYI, Assistant Chief Electrical Engineer is the Head of Electrical Unit in the Department of Works and Maintenance.
He has a good understanding of the electrical system of the hospital and has worked assiduously to ensure uninterrupted power supply and electrical safety across UBTH.
Engr Ifeanyi and members of his team have completed several projects in the hospital. Some of these projects include;
i. Installation of highway streetlights,
ii. Installation of an 11kV BEDC overhead line,
iii. Installed earthing system in critical departments,
iv. wiring of newly renovated wards.
v. Installation of 50kVA AVR in the Labour Ward Theatre, and
vi. Maintenance of the 11kV distribution panel to support seamless operations.
Engr Ifeanyi is level headed and ensures timely maintenance services which helps to minimize downtime in service rendering. The level of proficiency that Engr. Ifeanyi brings on board has greatly enhanced patient care.
