Mrs. Ikhumetse Christiana, Deputy Director of Nursing Services, is an outstanding nurse with an exceptional personality.
She began her nursing career in the hospital’s Accident and Emergency Unit and has since worked in Wards B2 and B4. Since 2007, she has been serving in the Neurosurgical Ward, where she continues to make a remarkable impact.
DDNS Christiana has consistently demonstrated excellence in her duties, earning numerous commendations throughout her career. Early in her service, she was recognized by the late Mr. Mike Okale, a former Assistant Director of Administration (Planning and Research), for her “high sense of responsibility and team spirit.” More recently, her professionalism and competence earned commendation from the Registrar of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
She is intelligent, empathetic, efficient, and diligent, with a calm demeanor and an amiable disposition. Her strong soft skills complement her technical expertise, enhancing her effectiveness in patient care and team management.
Currently serving as the Ward Manager of Neurosurgical Ward I, DDNS Ikhumetse has played a pivotal role in fostering team spirit within the unit, aligning with the hospital’s mission.
