Dr. Uyiosa A. Osazuwa, Consultant Neurosurgeon, is a distinguished clinician, administrator, and mentor whose dedication to patient care and hospital development has been impactful. A highly skilled neurosurgeon, he has successfully performed complex brain and spinal surgeries with excellent outcomes, restoring hope to many patients and their families. His professionalism, emotional intelligence, and strong interpersonal skills ensure effective communication with patients and relatives, fostering trust and easing concerns. Beyond his surgical expertise, Dr. Osazuwa has demonstrated outstanding leadership in hospital administration. As Head of the Corporate Services and Partnerships Unit (CSPU), he led the unit to win the 2024 Unit of the Year Award, reflecting his commitment to efficiency, innovation, and client satisfaction. His contributions extend to infrastructure development, where he played a key role in the design, building/renovation, and operationalization of hospital facilities, including the Neurosurgery Ward and A&E Theatre. His expertise in hospital operations made him the natural choice to lead the Theatre Committee for the A&E complex.
