The Chairman of Sterling Bank will be delivering a speech at UBTH’s 50th Anniversary

Dr Asue Ighodalo

Asue Ighodalo, the Chairman of Sterling Bank, is set to deliver a keynote speech at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital’s (UBTH) 50th-anniversary celebration. The event is set to take place on the 12th of May 2023, and Ighodalo’s speech is expected to focus on the importance of healthcare financing in Nigeria.

Ighodalo’s involvement in healthcare financing is not new, as Sterling Bank has launched several initiatives aimed at supporting the healthcare sector in Nigeria. One such initiative is “Healthier Lagos,” which provides financing for healthcare providers to expand and upgrade their facilities and equipment. The program has seen significant success, with many healthcare providers in Lagos benefiting from the financing options available.

In addition to “Healthier Lagos,” Sterling Bank has partnered with several healthcare organizations to provide affordable healthcare services to Nigerians. Through these partnerships, the bank has been able to provide access to healthcare services to many underserved communities in Nigeria.

As a respected business leader, Ighodalo’s speech at the UBTH 50th-anniversary celebration is expected to shed light on the importance of sustainable healthcare financing initiatives in Nigeria.
