The Management of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital received the Executive of NANNM/FHI led by Olanrewaju I. Nelly the head of delegation who expressed her appreciation to the hospital Management for the welfare and support enjoyed by the staff especially nurses of the hospital.
She particularly thanked the Hospital Management for the timely medical intervention that saved the life of one of their Exco members who was involved in a motor accident.
Responding, the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Darlington E. Obaseki who was represented by the CMAC, Prof. Stanley Okugbo welcomed the team to UBTH. He noted that the value the nurses bring to bear in the Management of patients cannot be underestimated. He appreciated the Nurses for their tireless work in advancing the interest of patients at all times. He added that nurses now enjoys seamless career progression to the post of Director in the hospital. Remarking that the development has brought about industrial harmony in the hospital.
