Training On Infection Prevention & Control For Newly Employed Interns In UBTH

Today, the University of Benin Teaching Hospital Infection Control Committee commenced training for the newly employed interns in the hospital.

The CMD in his opening remarks said that this training was geared at equipping the interns with infection prevention and control knowledge and practices that will ensure the safety of patients, healthcare workers and the community at large in accordance with our vision of providing quality healthcare solutions.

A total of 99 medical and dental interns were trained today. The training continues tomorrow with the nursing, pharmacy, medical laboratory, physiotherapy, radiology, optometry, dietetics, and occupational therapy interns
