UBTH@50 Celebrations Receive Royal Blessings from Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III

The UBTH @ 50 celebrations received another royal touch as the Management and members of the Central Working Committee visited the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III.

The purpose of the visit was to extend a formal invitation to the revered monarch, seek his royal blessings and update him on the hospital’s achievements in providing quality healthcare in the region.

 

During the visit, the Olu of Warri commended UBTH for its unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of the people. He expressed his delight at the hospital’s accomplishments and prayed for the management to have a successful celebration. He also gave assurances of his representation at the celebrations.

The UBTH @ 50 celebrations promise to be a momentous occasion. As we count down to this significant milestone, we invite everyone to join us in celebrating 50 years of quality healthcare service delivery.

The University of Benin Teaching Hospital was taken over by the Federal Government on April 1st, 1975 as the fifth teaching hospital coming after Ibadan Teaching Hospital and Lagos Teaching Hospital.
