The Management of University of Benin Teaching Hospital in it’s unwavering focus towards making UBTH a world class Health Institution in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa at large has asphalted the access road, car park and the entrance of the Consultant Out Patients Department (COPD).
This intervention has cured the hiccups hitherto experienced over the years. The Consultant Out Patients Department for instance faced various challenges, including outdated facilities, limited space, and inefficiencies in patients flow.
Management has also added two newly constructed consulting rooms to decongest crowd and help reduce patients waiting time in the clinics.
In addition, it has a top-notch drainage system and reverse mahole to control erosion and flooding in and around the complex .
